We've shared our top tips for exercise and fitness. So grab a pen, find your favourite spot in the house or a quiet cafe to ponder, and jot down some strategies on how you can make this work for you.

NUMBER ONE

Routine! Pick a time to go the gym and don’t deviate.

When you start a routine life does become easier and you as a result are more productive. Check your diary and establish that repeating time slot.

Tip: Mornings and afternoons are generally times we can make some changes in our routine to incorporate new ones like exercising.

NUMBER TWO

Always do something more than you did the last time.

For example, two (2) minutes extra on the rower or two (2) extra reps of your push ups.

Tip: This is where an exercise buddy can come in handy. Encouragement and motivation from a partner can help push you that extra two.

NUMBER THREE

You can never out train a bad diet, eat well.

Tip: When it comes to making diet changes try focusing on the positives rather than the negatives. For example, instead of writing down unhealthy foods that you will eat less of how about writing down healthy foods you will eat more of. Like more greens, more carrot, more healthy home cooked meals.
